Making his original and chocolate stroopwafels on the Bethany Beach boardwalk.
We work with local suppliers to source the freshest and most authentic ingredients, and use old-fashioned techniques to ensure our stroopwafels are of the highest quality. Our goal is to make your tastebuds happy!
The stroopwafel is the most popular cookie in the Netherlands—no wonder it's been around for over 150 years! So how do you make a stroopwafel? Our artisan stroopwafels are fresh-baked on the iron and then sliced in half and smothered in delicious homemade caramel. There are only 10 ingredients in Joost’s family recipe, and none of them are preservatives! We make all our stroopwafel cookies by hand in small batches. Joost, pronounced (Yoast), is a young entrepreneur who started his business at 13. Joost first fell in love with fresh stroopwafels when he visited family in the Netherlands. Now, he's bringing his love for freshly-made stroopwafels to you, here in America! We hope that you enjoy the Dutch stroopwafel experience as much as we do.
